A Q&A with Alejandro Jimenez, Operations Supervisor

Tell us about your career route to becoming an operations supervisor at Altiam CX.

My journey to becoming an operations supervisor at Altiam CX has been one of continuous growth and learning. I started my career in the customer service industry in 2011 where I gained valuable experience from my roles. Over time, I have crafted my skills in leadership management and operations optimization. Eventually, I progressed into roles such as quality and BPO supervisor operations manager until becoming operations supervisor hereat Altiam CX. I am very grateful for the diverse experiences and challenges that have shaped my career path to where I am today.

What inspires you most in your role?

One of the most inspiring aspects of my role as an operations supervisor is the opportunity to positively impact my team members and our clients. Seeing my team members develop and achieve their goals brings me immense satisfaction. Also, the dynamic nature of this industry and the constant pursuit of excellence in customer service using new technologies keeps me motivated and inspired every day.

What are some special strategies you use to help motivate frontline employees’ performance?

Motivating team members is crucial to maintaining a high-performance quality overall. One strategy I often use is fostering a culture of recognition and appreciation where achievements and contributions are acknowledged and celebrated by everyone on the team. Additionally, I believe in providing regular feedback, coaching, and growth opportunities to empower team members to reach their full potential.

How do you manage different personalities and work styles to keep your team productive?

Managing diverse personalities and work styles requires a flexible, empathetic approach. I strive to understand each team member's strengths, preferences, and communication styles to tailor my leadership approach accordingly. I like to promote open communication, collaboration, and respect for individual differences, creating an inclusive environment where everyone on the team feels valued and motivated to contribute their best.
